Troubleshooting

Common fixes

Why do I see “No screenshot was passed”?

The Shortcut must run Take Screenshot first, then pass that image to Tap to Translate from OneTap Translate.

Does OneTap Translate read other apps silently?

No. iOS requires the user to trigger the Shortcut or choose a screenshot. The app cannot silently read another app's screen.

Why is a language pair unavailable?

Version 1.0 uses Apple's on-device translation path where available. Some language pairs depend on Apple's local language support.

Can I delete translated screenshots?

Yes. History is local. You can turn Save History off, delete individual items, delete all history, or use auto-delete.
